We are a full service Dog Boarding and Daycare located in El Sobrante, CA. The Inn is a safe, friendly place for your Best Furry Friend to stay while you are away. We also make House Calls for those pups who prefer to stay put.
House Calls
If you have pets that prefer to stay at home, we make house calls. Dogs, cats, and little critters will be given TLC without having to leave their abode.

If you work long hours or have a schedule that has your dog craving some extra attention and exercise, Doggie Daycare is just the thing!

Policies
- We don't take certain dog breeds at The Inn: Pit bulls, Rottweilers, German Shepherd, Husky, Alaskan Malamutes, Doberman Pinchers, Chow Chows, Great Danes, St. Bernard, Akita, Bull Mastiffs.
- We cannot take dogs at The Inn who bark habitually due to the close proximity of neighbors.
- We CAN administer medicine, but not shots.
- We do not operate Daycare on rainy days. If you have pre-paid, please call to reschedule your dog's visit.
- NO DROP INS - Please fill out the Registration Form in order to schedule an Assessment Visit before Boarding or Daycare can begin.
Vaccination Requirements
All guests of The Bow Wow Inn must be vaccinated for Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (annually) prior to boarding or attending daycare with us. Puppies must have a minimum of 2 rounds of DHPP vaccinations. Please provide us with copies of dog's vaccination records for our files along with a photo of your pet.
- Rabies is required every 3 years by law
- Distemper/Parvovirus boosters are required every 3 years or according to your veterinarian's guidelines
- Bordetella is an intranasal vaccine for canine cough -and should be updated annually
I'm Bonnie Blair, the owner of The Bow Wow Inn.
My love of animals began over 50 years ago. Thanks to my adventurous parents that chose to raise their family on a small ranch in El Sobrante. Daily life consisted of loving and caring for animals …lots of them! Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Rabbits, Chickens, Cats, and of course the family dogs.
In 2009 I decided to take real steps to having my dream job - being a canine caretaker. I attended seminars where I studied cage free dog behavior, pack control and engaging dogs in play. I'm trained in social and physical behaviors of dogs, and love to help the dogs I care for feel happy, social and safe.
I opened the doors to the Bow Wow Inn in 2010, and have been providing daycare and boarding for the local community ever since. Currently our dogs can receive crate and/or potty training, and I'm excited to announce that in the near future the Bow Wow Inn will be offering Full Service Dog Training!
